How it works

1.

Book a free consultation

We’ll chat for a half hour to see if working together will be a good fit. You’ll have a chance to ask questions and tell me about your business and I’ll tell you more about what it’s like to work with me. After this call we’ll make the decision to work together and find a time on my design calendar.

2.

Make it official

Once we decide to work together I’ll send over a contract and an invoice for a deposit, which will hold your spot on my design calendar. Then you’ll get started on any homework you have (writing copy for a flyer, collecting content for your site, etc). Don’t worry, I’ll make sure you know exactly what to do.

3.

Design time!

The design process is pretty collaborative. I, of course, will do the actual designing, but we will talk a lot and I’ll check in with you frequently for feedback. Whether we’re working on a website or printed marketing materials, it’s super important to me that you feel involved in the process.

4.

Finish it all up

Once the designing is done, we’ll tie up any loose ends. I’ll answer final questions, share design files with you (and the printer), help you launch your website, etc. When that’s all done I’ll send a final invoice and you’ll start showing off your new stuff.

“Working with Anna on our website is one of the best marketing decisions we could have made.”

—Valerie W., Owner, Honey Field Farm

“Anna understands my needs as a CSA farmer. She’s fluent with farm things, easy to communicate with, approachable, and patient. Every dollar we have spent working with her is entirely worth it.”

— Kara, Owner, Evening Song Farm

“Because Anna has worked on farms and thought a great deal about the consumer impulse to buy local produce, she has exceptionally keen insights into how farm websites can serve farmers”

–Karen, Owner, True Love Farm
